Top 3 Highlights

Basílica of Fátima

The Sanctuary of Fatima is a place of devotion on a prodigious scale, a pilgrimage destination and a sacred enclosure. The secrets of Fátima and the "miracle of the sun" are one of the attractions of religious tourism.

Chapel of Apparitions

The crown of Virgin Mary guards the bullet that was extracted from Pope John Paul II in 1981.

To the east of the sanctuary, the children's houses as called after the three shepherd children who saw the Virgin Mary have been preserved and are known as the Little Shepherds' Houses.

The event was declared worthy of belief on 13th of October 1930.

Don’t Just Take Our Word For It

"Susana was amazing! It was my son (18) and myself and my 79 year old mother. She made sure that my mother was able to do everything. She even had a step stool for her to get in and out of the car. She let us go at our own pace. She exceeded our expectations! It was a 20 out of 10!!! I recommend for anyone!"

"Diogo was our tour guide from Lisbon to Sintra. I went with two other girl friends and we had a private tour. We were able to skip the lines so did not have any long waits. Diogo was the best tour guide I have ever had. He started our day by a quick stop to get some Portuguese pastries which was an unexpected treat. His knowledge of the history and his organization of the tour to make sure we were able to experience and enjoy the gardens and the palaces was incredible. This tour was the highlight of my trip to Portugal and I absolutely loved Portugal. I would definitely recommend Diogo as a tour guide to anyone having the privilege to travel to Portugal."

“We had a fantastic 3-day private tour with Alberto, who took us through Lisbon, to Sintra, Cascais, Evora, Nazare, Obidos, Porto, and a few additional stops. He also included some surprises along the way. He was very knowledgeable and paced the days perfectly. We also had a great experience working with Joana for scheduling our tours. Thank you Alberto and Joana!”

“Ricardo Domingues was a fantastic tour guide. Not only was he very personable and very funny, but he also was super knowledgeable about the castles at Sintra. He was incredible in his ability to link the most minor detail about something on display to how people lived back then and how life could have been. He was spectacular in his "wow" moments, making my family and I's jaws drop almost every five minutes. I could say no bad thing. He was incredible.”
